Southern Railway Recruitment 2012 for Group D posts

India (DLN): Southern Railway, Chennai invites applications for recruitment 2012 to Group-D posts. There are total 2461 various Group-D posts in Southern Railway, Chennai. Pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1800. There are vacancies for Sweeper cum Porter, Helper Gr. II, Safaiwala, Peon, Mali, Helper Gr. II, Vendor and Sanitary Cleaner.

10th Pass or ITI pass candidates can apply for Southern Railway recruitment 2012. Candidates appearing for exam and/or awaiting results of Class 10th need not to apply. Age limit is 18-33 years as on 1st Oct 2012.

Application fee is Rs.40. Fee should be submitted through DD/ IPO in favor of “The Assistant Personnel Officer/ Recruitment, RRC, Chennai – 600080” payable at Chennai. SC/ST/PWD (PH), Women, Minority Communities and Economically Backward Classes/Sections need not to pay fee.

Cherian Crescent Road, Egmore, Chennai – 600080” by post. Closing date for receipt of applications is 25^th Sep 2012 and for far flung areas, closing date is 12^th Oct 2012.
