Delhi Public Library Recruitment 2012 for Various Posts

Delhi (DLN): Delhi Public Library requires individuals for the following posts. Selected candidates will be recruited on Probation of 2 years.

1.    Library & Information Assistant: 2 posts. Qualification required is Degree and Degree in Library Science.

2.    Library & Information Assistant (Tech. Braille): 2 posts. Qualification required is Degree. Knowledge of Bharti and English Braille from as evidenced by test is required.

3.    Library & Information Assistant (Braille Proof Reader): 1 post. Qualification required is Degree. Applicants should have Certificate (Grade-II) in Braille System both in Bharti and English Braille with 3 Years’ experience in Braille proof reading in an Office or Institution.

4.    Junior Stenographer: 2 posts. Qualification required is 10th Class. Proficiency in English/Hindi Shorthand and Typewriting with speed of 80 / 30 w.p.m. respectively as evidenced by test is required.

5.    Library Clerk: 13 posts. Qualification required is Matriculation. Certificate in Library Science is required.

6.    Lower Division Clerk (Ty): 3 posts. Qualification required is 12th Class pass. Proficiency in English/Typewriting with speed of 30 w.p.m. or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi Typewriting as Evidenced by test is required.

7.    Motor Driver: 3 posts. Qualification required is 8th Class pass. Applicants must be possessing valid Driving Licence for Light/Heavy Motor Vehicles. They should have 3 years’ experience of driving Light / Heavy Motor Vehicles.

8.    Junior Library Attendant (JLA): 5 posts. Qualification required is 10th Class pass
