Karnataka (DLN): Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) requires teaching faculty in different Departments of Studies providing PG/UG/Diploma courses.
In KSOU Mysore, following posts are vacant:
1. Assistant Professor: 42 vacancies. Applicants must have Good academic record with minimum 55% marks at the Master’s degree level in relevant subject. Candidates must have qualified the NET conducted by the UGC, CSIR or SLET/SET. Candidates having Ph.D. Degree will be exempted from the requirement of the NET/SLET/SET.
2. Associate Professor: 5 vacancies. Applicants must have Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant disciplines. Candidates should have Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks. Minimum 8 years experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position is required.
3. Librarian: 1 post. Qualification required is Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation with minimum 55% marks. Minimum 10 years experience as Deputy Librarian is required.

Fee for Assistant Professor is processing fee Rs.800 and for SC/ST candidates Rs.300.Fee for Associate Professor is Rs.1200 and for SC / ST Candidates Rs.500.
