India (DLN): Western Railway invites applications for direct recruitment of Sports persons against Sports Quota. There are vacancies for the post of Group-C and Group-D posts.
- Group -C: 3 posts in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.2400/2800.
- Group -C: 9 posts in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1900/2000.
- Group -D: 14 posts in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1800.
Age limit is 18-25 years as on 1st Jan 2012. Relaxation is available in age as per rules.
Application fee is Rs.60 for Group ‘C’ post in PB-1 Rs. 5200- 20200 + GP Rs.2400 /2800 and Rs.40 for Group C posts in PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1800/1900/2000. Fee should be submitted through Indian Postal Order in favour of Western Railway Sports Association, Mumbai. No fee for SC/ST, Women, Minorities and economically backward classes candidates.
Filled application form should be addressed to “Sr. Sports Officer, Western Railway Sports Association, Headquarter Office, Churchgate, Mumbai – 400020”. Last date for receipt of applications is 29th Aug 2011.
