India (DLN): North Central Railway seeks for recruitment 2011-12 in Group ‘C’ Posts against Cultural quota. There are 2 vacancies in the discipline of Vocal Singer (Classical base with ability to sing Light Music and Folk Music.). 1 Post is for Male and 1 for Female. Scale of Pay is Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1900.
Applicants should be matriculation passed with 50% aggregate or higher qualification from. 50% marks is not applicable for candidates with higher qualification. Age limit is 18 to 30 years as on 1st Jan 2012. Possession of degree/diploma certificate in music is essential.
Selection Process:
Objective type written test: 50 Marks
Assessment of talent in the relevant field (practical demonstration): 35 Marks
Personality test/Interview: 15 Marks
Application fee is Rs.40. No fee for SC/ST candidates. Fee should be paid through Indian Postal Order in favor of “FA&CAO, North Central Railway, Allahabad” Payable at Allahabad.
Last date for receipt of application fee is 30th Aug 2011.
