IOCL Recruitment 2011 in Boiler Operation, Quality Control & Medical Disciplines

India (DLN): Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) invites applications 2011 for Boiler Operation Engineers, Quality Control Officers & Medical Officers. There are total 76 vacancies.

1. Boiler Operations Engineers: 20 Posts in Refineries Units. Eligibility: 4 year B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Regular full time). Candidates must have the Boiler Engineer’s Certificate (I Class Proficiency) issued by the State Boiler Authorities. Candidates should have atleast 1 year post BOE experience in operation of large size Thermal Power Plant. Relaxation of experience will be considered in case of non-availability of sufficient candidates. Age limit is 30 years.

2. Quality Control Officers: 41 Posts in Refineries Units & Marketing Installations. 

Eligibility: Ph.D in Chemistry with at least 60% marks in Graduation and PG level (Passing marks for SC/ST). Candidates should have atleast 2 years of research/laboratory experience in Petroleum/Petrochemical/ Polymer Laboratories as Quality Control Officer/Research Officer. Relaxation of experience will be considered in case of non-availability of sufficient candidates. Age limit is 30 years.

3. Medical Officers: 15 Posts in Refineries. Candidates should have 2 years experience in the respective area of specialization. Relaxation of experience will be considered in case of non-availability of deserving candidates. Age limit is 32 years.

Application fee for General & OBC candidates is Rs.300. Fee should be submitted through Demand Draft/ Pay Order/ Banker’s Cheque drawn on SBI, Service Branch (Code No. 7687) in favor of INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED (REFINERIES DIVISION) payable at New Delhi. No fee for SC/ST/PWD categories.

IOCL online application is open from 24th Aug to 12th Sep, 2011.
