India (DLN): Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has invited online application for the recruitment of scientist - 'B' with Pay scale of Rs.15600 -39100 + Gr. Pay Rs.5400. There are 115 vacancies in various disciplines. BIS Online application will be started from 20th Aug 2011 and last date for online registration is 9th Sep 2011.
1. Mechanical /Metallurgy Discipline: 61 Posts
2. Civil Discipline: 22 Posts
3. Food/ Microbiology/ Bio Chemistry Discipline: 17 Posts
4. Electrical/Electronics Discipline: 12 Posts
5. Computer Science/Computer Engg. Discipline: 3 Posts
Age limit is 21-27 years as on 9th September 2011.
Eligible candidates will be required to qualify the written examination. The question paper will be of objective type.
Application fee is 750. Fee should be submitted through NEFT mode only.
